Clear headlight Lenses on Ebay
Anyone have any information these?

I saw the group buy in the vendor section for the polycarbonate ones, but these say they are acrylic glass. Not sure the difference honestly.
If the group buy in the vendor section is done, i wonder if these will do a similar job. Are they a member here? $375 is alot to spend on headlight lenses, but damn to they look good.

Also since i am cheap as fawk, i wonder if i could buy the ugly retrofit headlights, put them in the oven to loosen the bonding agent and pop off the clear lenses from them? Cheapest ones are about $220 shipped for a pair of complete ricer headlights, Possibly issues i see are the aftermarket housings not being exactly the same as OEM headlight, sub-par plastic lenses that will fade faster, etc.
Thoughts?

The Sixta Designs lenses you linked look like they're the fronts only, so you'd have to cut a stock lenses and use the original flange and bond them together. It's similar to the old limited production Rideslow lens.
Polycarbonate resist impacts better than acrylic, but overall it is softer and scratches easier. Acrylic on the other hand doesn't scratch as easily and has a nicer finish.
There might still be some lenses available from the OG status group buy, but they mentioned once this batch is gone, then they might not be able to get them anymore.
The cheap ebay headlight lenses aren't a direct swap to the oem headlights, but they can be made to fit. It takes a lot of time and patience to get them seal to properly. Personally, I would never do it again and just buy a set from OG status, but at the time they OG status didn't exist.
