So i am new here. I just bought a 1993 SC300 and it's been nothing but a nightmare. Other problems aside, my AC barely blows cool. And only when i am idling. As soon as i start accelerating it stops blowing all together. Which is not good because i didn't know that my windows won't go down and it's 90° right now. Any ideas on what might be the problem and how i can fix it?

 

start with getting refrigerant pressure checked, you may need a charge. running at too low a pressure isn't good for the system
