Default Replacement cam position sensors?

I have 92 SC400 with a bad cam position sensor and found out the oem sensors have been discontinued. I have been told you want to use the same manufacturer for both sensors preferably oem. I checked Denso and they don't manufacturer them either. Any suggestions for replacements?

Are you sure theyre bad or just have messed up wiring?
The SC400s have a design flaw in the wiring harness and are susceptible to melting insulation
I've had to rebuild my entire engine harness because of it
My sensors are original with 257k miles, just repaired wiring

Definitely appreciate the reply. I actually got some chaffing on the harness and left sensor after I replaced my timing belt/water pump etc. At that time I repaired harness and replaced sensor and since then have had code13. Just got back from junkyard with both cam sensors from 96 LS400 to replace mine. I have been told by a number of Lexus mechanics that original is the only way to go. Where were you having problem with melt I have 200,000 plus on my car and am going to pull harness for further inspection.
