I called every Lexus dealership in the country to find a tan or black center console surround with no luck. I'm having one I bought used sanded and painted to match.
Jim, what paint and finish did you use to restore your used console trim piece? Is yours a factory tan interior? I want to restore mine (also factory tan interior) but I've been hesitant in order to find the right shade of paint and the right textured finish to make it as close to original as possible.

I didn't restore my center console trim. I am looking for a good black one to replace it with since I am going black/tan. If you know anyone that has a black, new upper center console, I'm a buyer!

Aren't they still available at Lexus? Are you talking about the tan part pictured above by SSmith?
So LEXis007 (Fadi) stopped by to see the car and he said it looks "even better in person than the pictures show". I was humble but it made me feel pretty good. It really DOES look so much better in person. My iPhone 7 doesn't do it justice. We need to do a real photo shoot this summer. The car probably won't be fast by then, but it'll look the part for sure!
I don't know what it is, but the car just looks way better in person. That color is fantastic up close and in person.
I should be coming by again soon with my car Jim, I took the old spoiler off the car and boy was it a pain....it wasn't the oem spoiler so you can imagine the install job one did on it.
