Default 2JZ with V-Tec.. ???

Have you guys heard anything about this, these guys made a new cylinder head with V-Tec, just saw this today...
Also they offer optional dual vvti... so you would have V-Tec with dual vvti which sounds really overkill but I kinda like it.

My friend was telling me about this a few weeks ago. I believe they said their target price is around $15k for a complete assembled billet head.

I am very interested to see what the initial impressions are given the information kitabel has just posted ^^

On paper this sounds very impressive. High power and potentially better fuel economy and emissions. I love it that they've incorporated as many factory Toyota VVT-i parts as possible. However at $15k for one I can't imagine the market is going to be for many street cars or mild budget tunes. Looking at the detailed pictures of the single cylinder prototype it also looks like the head sits at least a couple of inches higher than all other 2JZ heads. I am wondering what their valvetrain cover(s) and coil/cam cover and timing belt cover will look like and also if the engine might be a bit too tall even for Supra MKIV and SC hoods accounting for some NVH from the engine mounts.

I want to see the final product in action. This could be very promising for those who can afford it.

It also occurred to me that if they are going to the trouble of designing an entire head, how much of a jump would it be to also incorporate Direct Injection technology from the 2JZ-FSE head and intake manifold? But that probably also means a completely different ultra high pressure fuel delivery and injector system. The custom ECU control will be custom anyway.

As-is I'm interested and going to watch this as it develops.
