Default Help! Wheels won't fit

I just bought some 18" volk av3s on ebay and they won't fit my 93' sc400. It seems like the bolts on the car aren't long enough for the lugnut to screw on. The wheel offset was advertised as 46mm so I thought they would fit.

The lugnuts I have will fit into the slot of the wheels but there isn't enough bolt sticking out for the lugnut to screw onto. Is there any way I can drill the holes to make them deeper? Or can I get longer bolts installed? This all sounds pretty damn expensive but I would like to see what my options are. Any ideas on what i can do?

wheel specs: 18x8 +46 Offset
tires: 235/40ZR-18

Just go down to Pep Boys or Autozone and buy some longer wheel studs. Installation should be very cheap, but is easily done yourself.

Yep, all you need to do is buy lengthened wheel studs. Bang out the old ones and put them in. Pretty easy, pretty cheap.

As an alternative to replacing your studs, you might check with a reputable wheel shop and see if they have longer lug nuts. I know a lot of mag wheels come with their own nuts just because of this situation. Maybe you can find some that will work for you.
