i have a 92 Sc400 with about 90,000 miles that has recently (1 week ago), developed a gas like odor coming from the front(thru the vents, "i believe" and from the out side you can smell it faintly)... i can smell it faintly in the car only after the car has been driven for a while oor at idle for about 5 or 10 minutes. i checked for leaks and i inspected the gas cap... IF ANY ONE HAS A SUGGESTION OR TWO PLEASE FORWARD IT PLEASE!!!

If you are smelling gas fumes you have a gass leak. It wouldn't take much of a leak to create vapors and the leaked gas would evaporate quickly leaving little obvious wetness. I would closely inspect around each injector to fuel rail seal and the fuel pressure regulator and any other juction. Good luck.
