Now here's the CATCH - The strut bolts on the STOCK UPPER MOUNT is VERY SHORT. The nut may not even thread on all the way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT DO THIS MOD ON STOCK STRUT BOLTS!!

Is there anyway to do this mod with stock suspension lol, any good ideas?

Well first someone without lengthened strut studs would have to buy teh Cusco STB and the spacers and see if the nuts actually thread all the way or not. If it does thread all the way, then we might be okay! Otherwise, nope!

I'd be interested in knowing which coilovers have lengthened studs like the JIC SF-1s, so that people's options are still open. After all, Koni, HKS, Tein, JIC, Tanabe, and more all make coilovers that fit our car!

You mean the Soarer DNA really helps the Supra. Remember, the MKIV chassis came out AFTER the SC/Soarer
Where's this canyon that people keep talking about?

Can you name some specific roads? I'm originally from NJ, so I don't know the area that well.

Sorry, I'm from Northern California and don't know Socal roads that well. Manaray and other locals may be of more help. If you feel up for exploration, try driving through the Palos Verdes/Rolling Hills area. There are a lot of fun roads up there! I'm sure there are more around the Santa Monica/Beverly hills area though.

I have a stock 95 SC400 and just bought a front upper strut bar. After reading this post it seems that with the spacers the bar will not fit bc the bolts are not long enough....
1. is that correct?
2. is there anyway to make that bar fit on my stoc SC400?
Thanks!!

Old post. Nice to see them resurrected as needed. I wish I could find a STB that will fit with the motors installed on top of my TEIN FLEX CO's. I am about to install the EDFC.

If anybody knows of one. Let me know.

Thanks,

Ryan
