I have some headlights on my car now that don't seem to have an adjustments and the lighting is horrible. They look to be aftermarket. Does anybody recommend the factory oem headlights or is there a HID plug and play kit with the headlights I can buy? Point me in the right direction lol

Yeah OEM have the best light output. Plus if you were just thinking about dropping $300 bucks on after market I think there is a dude on this forum that restores them to practically brand new professionally.... King something I believe.Originally Posted by Kris9884
I would def get the OEM lights and just clean them up and install a 9006 55w HID kit.

NikXtreme, I'd recommend finding a set of OEM headlights in good condition and using a 3M or Meguiar's headlight restoration kit for the outer lenses.Originally Posted by NikXtreme

For lighting, a PnP Phillips 9006 bulb kit from Xenon Depot works really well (they label it as "Xtreme HID"). 4300K bulbs are closest to a "normal" headlight color temperature. Unlike a lot of other HID retrofit shops you can actually get these folks on the phone for customer service and sales. I'm using that kit and I couldn't be happier. Great serviceable upgrade IMO with added safety over anything the OEM bulbs or Silverstars can put out.
Now this is only if you want to have a plug and play HID retrofit which is not quite as good as tearing into the headlights and custom fitting another manufacturer's HID system down to the internal lenses. A lot of work but some people prefer that method to get things as good as they possibly can be.
Deegee -- I think you're referring to KingPhillip. Yes, he does extensive work on our headlight assemblies (or used to?).
