I have a 92 SC300 and just bought the wheels tires for $860 shipped. Here is what I got
Bridgestone Potenza RE040 215/45ZR17 Tires
17"x7", Silver Finish, +50mm Offset, 5x114.3mm Bolt Pattern, 11-Spoke Rims
Lugnuts (20), Lugnut Tool (1), and Lexus Center Caps (4).

I do not know much about cars so any advice on what I have done would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Clublexus. They will fit but I think the you should have gotten a wider wheel. I got GS 400 wheels on the SC 400 and they are 17x8 with 245 width tires. You will be the first with this wheel on a SC, please post pics!

The wheels will fit. The other guys are saying you should have gone with wider rims. After saying that, however, the tires are too small for the SC. If you decide on keeping the rims, you should also get bigger tires. The stock 16" rims come with 225 tires, kinda defeats the purpose to get bigger rims, but to stick with a smaller contact patch.
