Default What did I get myself into🔧

Well here I am, new as brand new baby with some toys that seem like will suck the life out of my pockets, I don't know where to begin. no work space and dilemmas up the wazoo, I've had the car, 93 sc400 automatic for about 6 months and gone through hell. I hope to get some advice and direction as I don't want to lose this one as I have lost a few good cars to neglect, '68 Camaro '70 Lincoln Continental '74 Datsun Z. As you can tell I made some serious mistakes in the past and I would just like to restore my confidence that I can do it. I don't want to go crazy I just want a good reliable car that operates smoothly and everything works. The first issue I really need help with is the connector to the neutral safety switch. My connector is all broken up and the dealer needs the number etched on the plug to order me a new one, can anyone steer me in the right direction

Are you referring to part number 8454035040? It has been superceded by part number 8454050010.

Don't give up on her just yet, you can find a lot of information on this site to trouble shoot/restore you car. Good luck.

Don't give up yet, name the issues and we'll tackle them in order from mission critical to just picky. I've seen some miracles on some really terrible cars here.

Thanks for the encouragement, and reply however that part number is for the neutral safety switch itself and I need the five digit part number for the connector that goes to it. It's the connector from the harness, the dealer says that is the only way to look it up

There's a 5 digit number on a sticker and its 50010 - which is the last 5 digits of the part number, otherwise I don't see anything? If the dealer cant look it up with the part number, your at the wrong place lol
