R12 and R134 same climate control unit?
screen issue on my 93 sc300's climate control lcds. Can i swap my 95's in its place and have full functioning ac on both cars? 95 is r134 and 93 is r12. I would just do it and see but the 95 has a Freon leak atm so i wouldn't know on it.

I don't know if there are differences between R12 ('92) and R134 ('93+) vehicles' HVAC units, but there are differences in the units across at least some of the years unrelated to refrigerant type. I tried one from a different year at one point and half of the functions didn't work properly.
The early AC Control System are different from the 95+ . The Blower Transistor Pack which controls blower speed is not part of the early AC Control System. Kind of refrigerant isn't a factor in the control.
