Default JDM 2JZGTE VVTi wont start

Hello,

I'm trying to start an Aristo 2jz on the engine stand but i dont seem to be getting spark. The etcs-i is working, but there is no voltage between B+ and ground on the plug for the d61 igniter.

I have the pins in red connected to positive and the one in blue to ground. also have walbro 485 hooked up for fuel in a bucket.

Do you have your ecu grounded? Mine wouldn't start unless the ecu was grounded.

Your sensors are not grounded . The EC that you grounded is just the AC pressure switches ground. All the grounds on B1 and B2 connector should be grounded. They are for the sensor / ecu ground needed by the ECU to read parameters it needs to fire the engine.

it should be ...but just trying to make sure since it wasn't mentioned what wiring you used or how the engine was wired . I was thinking you rigged your own since you said the ETCS-i is working ... I don't see the +BM pin wired which provides power to the eletronic throttle system which sends signals to the ECU.
