1st I want to say thanks for all that have posted information here, ive been able to fix a lot of things on my sc400 as a result of your posts, long before registering.
I found a post that helped me start my car by turning the switch on, unplugging the efi relay, plugging it back in then turning the switch to start it. I cant find the thread that it came from to find out what was done to correct the problem. The problem was no power to the fuel pump(brand new)
Got the car started and drove from Texas to Alabama, hit a bump in a construction zone that sent the car into running on 4 cyl, stalling and turning the cats red. Pulled over and found the wire on driver side lower coil was off, re connected the wire and let the car sit with the batt terminal off for about 45mins, didn't change anything. drove the car about 60 miles to get home with the windows down cause of smell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm understanding this correctly you hit a bump and some plug wires came off? If so, sounds like when you plugged them back in maybe put them in the wrong order? Make sure they are in the right firing order, I don't what they are off hand though sorry man.

If it was just one wire then when in doubt, unhook the battery for 30 minutes and see.

Hmm, that's tricky man, in the future label your thread with an actual description, "newbie" things are mostly ignored or overlooked because 99% of the time a quick search answers things.
