Hey guys...need help identifying a problem. A while back my car started throwing a lot of smoke and smelled like gas. I changed the ECU and no more gas smell. BUT!! There is still smoke coming out. Thought it'd go sway after letting car run so I left it on for a bit. My dad decided to open hood to check something while cat was running and we notice there was no more smoke...but when we closed the hood. Smoke will come out again. The smoke does not smell like gas, it's odorless. Any ideas on what to do? I have a short ram intake and cleaned the filter. Idk what else it might be... Help is greatly appreciated

what color smoke? white? grey? blue? black?

White smoke... With no smell... Then the hood is left open while car is still running and smoke slowly goes away and then close hood and smoke comes back

Check the heater control valve hose connections. Coolant maybe leaking onto the exhaust. That hose clamp is known for failure. Wouldn't hurt to check.

I agree, also pressure check the hoses through the radiator that might be it. Is the smoke coming from the hood or the exhaust... ?

Where under the hood is the smoke coming from? Motor, coolant reservoir, etc???
