It's just not safe to drive!
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to embed the video from my Vimeo account, so I just uploaded a low quality version on YouTube. Here's a little spirited driving we did about a month back in Palomar Mountain Road. There was recently a brush fire that almost engulfed the observatory we went to on this drive. I got the idea of driving here from a review Shut Up and Drive did for the RCF.
I don't have the same effects and resources these guys have, but I did my best with my GoPro. So, here it is, enjoy!
Stretched tires, aggressive offset, slammage, negative offset - it's just not safe to drive. LOL

Not to be a buzzkill by any means, but we recently had a mazdaspeed club member total his car on this same exact mountain (took a turn far too fast). This is a pretty serious mountain with difficult grade angled turns, but lots of fun as long as people drive reasonably (but especially more unforgiving with a FWD car that has an 80/20 weight distribution ratio, major understeer). He actually rolled twice and almost went off the edge:

Thanks for the heads up InLyneTrbo. I do agree with everything you just said. I'm a family man, and my heavy foot on the pedal days are far behind me. I actually had my wife and daughter with me on this trip. There are actually quite a lot of spots there where you'd see memorials for people who lost there lives driving on this road. Was a constant reminder to know my and my cars' limitations. And yes, that's why I don't like front wheel drive cars, and been against it since I was a kid. Front wheel drive cars are great economical cars and all, and people should really treat them that way instead of thinking it's a gotdamn sports car.
