Default Question...what do these go to?

Just purchased a 96 SC400 for 500 bucks and drove it home some 200 miles. The issue with it is that there is no power. I floor it and it takes some 10 seconds to get to 40-50 MPH. However, there is no misfiring, stuttering, or backfiring at all. Strong gas smell, poor gas mileage. Took it up to 85 MPH, just does not have any power. It is like driving an 18 wheeler, essentially. (get going fast down the hill to make up the next) I can rule out the timing belt skipping a tooth, and the alternator/battery. (A/C is freakin cold!!)

Anyhow, upon getting home I noticed two hoses that were completely disconnected. The first goes to the charcoal canister (which was hissing like a snake for awhile once car was shutoff) and the second is what I need help with. Where does it go? I cannot seem to locate where it plugs up to.

Another note, the engine blew a few years back and the PO had a used engine with 90k miles installed. Maybe the hoses vibrated loose? Who knows. Attached a few photos of the hoses, around the canister, and on the passengers side of the motor. The other pic is of the car. Rough stuff, but for 500 bucks, I cannot complain.

LMK any input, thanks!

Apologize for the crappy photos...

Pic #3 appears to be the drain hose from the firewall area, presumably for the A/C evaporator. Mine curves down, so yours may have been a replacement cut.

For the symptoms, I would start with things like compression check, making sure the CEL bulb hasn't been removed, vacuum test, etc.

Thanks. Seems like the car is running on 4 cylinders. It just doesn't sound like a V8. (how would I know? Cats were gutted lol) The CEL works great, and is shooting one code. P0171. Replacing ignition coil now...
