Default 1jzgte VVTI swap (I have the Soarer version) basic question...

Hello, as posted I have the Soarer version of the 1jzgte vvti motor. Swap is almost complete accept for harness extension and exhaust. I have searched heavy on this and not gotten any real solid answers on whether the Soarer version is plug and play or not, just posts of others doing the swap using chaser/Verossa, etc.......the body harness will plug right in, and the two connectors under the fuse box .....one plugs in and one I can match up but I don't believe I will have to. Any help would be appreciated! My car is a 95 SC btw.......

It will not be plug and play but it does make things easier that you have a genuine Soarer 1JZGTE VVT-i. Your Soarer harness will absolutely need to be modified to work with your car. I know there are pinouts available but I cannot recall if there are any 1JZ VVT-i Soarer specific pinouts.

Whether you do this yourself or contract out to get the harness modified it will not just plug and play with some extension of the Soarer harness the way earlier 1JZ Soarer harnesses will into early SC bodies.

Sorry I cannot be of more specific help.
