Default 96 sc400 engine wiring

I've been having an issue for awhile with poor idling and poor performance engine bucks once its at 3k rpms. CEL was showing cam sensor. Replaced both cams and ecu already. Also check resistance on cams both at respectable lvls. After looking at the wiring harness I do have a broke connection bad thing is that connector can be inserted in both directions its a 6 pin conn on driver side where the front sensor wires go into. Im kind of wondering if the previous owner messed around with it its been like this since I got it. Im in no way a mechanic its just a hobby for me. I've had ppl send me wiring diagrams but they're a little more complicated then I can understand so does anyone have a basic diagram that shows which connectors go where and what wires go to which pins and what color the wires should be at each conn. I really appreciate

I've yet to see a connector on these cars that is multi-directional. I would definitely replace that. Easier said than done if you don't know the correct orientation of the wires, though.

Exactly that's my problem cuz im willing to just soder them together if need be but I have no expertise in vehicles. The only reason it is currently multi directional is be cuz the clips broke off both ends and u can't tell which side is which anymore ill try and get a pic after work and post it maybe that will help. But that's the only thing I can think of now cuz I keep getting the same CEL code after cam replacements and ecu replacement. When I got the car pretty much all connectors were shot so far only replaced injector connectors due to misfires and got the misses fixed now just can't seem to get rid of this cam sensor code. Its a 1uzfe engine if that helps anyone. Thanks again for any help
