Default HELP!!!- (check engine light)

alright, so I was installing my RMM intake, I get everything hooked up, forget to plug in my MAF adaptor, try and start the car, it wont start (DUH) plug it in, get the car started... check engine light on... So whats the deal? is the ECU just acting wierd becuase its getting more air than normal should I reset my ECU?... help me! lol

also-my hood supports are gone, anyone want to tell me a place to get them, lol (no I HAVE NOT SEARCHED IT YET, lol...) but Im more woried about the first ?.

Default Yes...

Since you added you intake you need to reset your ECU, You can pull your battery cable off for a few min and you should be fine........ And about your hood supports you sould be able to go to like Auto Zone or your local auto parts store and get a pair for like 60 or so I would think...........

trying to start just once with the maf sensor disconnected caused the ecu to store a fault code, the light will stay on until you clear the code, a full ecu reset should do it.
