Those are awesome!!!! How did you get LED's like that?

FSUsucks1 03-24-15 05:17 PM

I love the brake part and the running lights, and reverse lights...looks really cool!...but really don't care for the turn signals.

Good job I know you worked really hard on those and it came out amazing!

InLyneTrbo 03-24-15 06:14 PM

The turn signals remind me of the Snake game on the old black and white Nokia phones Lol this is dope.

Aron9000 03-24-15 06:17 PM

NICE!!!!!!

Were you able to use the stock wiring up to the bulbs, so all the mods are in the housing???

oldManTan 03-24-15 07:11 PM

the LED strips for the turn signals i purchased like that, somehow they cascade by themselves and it's epic. all the wiring is done inside yes and connected to the original bulbs which i broke open and modified, then soldered wires to them. i have the entire build in my thread you guys can see here.

the turn signals are not finished yet, they are, but the flasher needs to be modified so it doesn't flash, the turn signals go all the way around the light so right now it looks funky because they terminate early. once i figure out the layout of the flasher, i'll modify it so it doesn't flash. i'll be doing the same turn signal LEDs for the headlights as well, and some other awesome stuff as well. my headlights are gonna be from the FUTURE!

Get some videos at night....im sure if the cascade is slowed down it will be better

the cascade won't slow down, it will go on for the entire length of the light though. also there are 4 LED bulbs on the corner which will illuminate nicely as well.

wow! I followed the thread since day one and have been waiting for the headlights. I saw the previous post on your build thread and they came out way nice!!! I really am not the biggest fan of the turn signals as they are so I cant wait to see what they look like with the flasher mod. but I will say that I am a fan of the work involved and give you a thumbs up. :)

oldManTan 03-24-15 10:28 PM

it's come a long way hasn't it. i'm looking at the shop manual and can not find a pin layout for the flasher, so i'm a little stumped. if someone knows which pins control which lights, that would be really helpful

headlights will be next, this was just spontaneous and didn't involve any long hours of modeling and printing so i went ahead and did it real quick.

I was gunna say, if the rears could get bypass on the relay then the fronts could stay stock. I love this... Engineering greatness!

yea it's definitely doable, but the fronts won't stay stock, they're getting an even bigger overhaul and modernization.
