What is the ratio for a 5spd tt lsd? What exactly do I need to mate this, or should I go welded diff? I also want to go pre 98, 3.92 for my ratio. The 3.26 isn't bad really power wise, so a pre 98 ratio should make a nice difference.
HELP!

I have a 3.76 TT auto LSD and find it to be perfect.
..definitely don't go welded unless you plan on beating your car up at the drift track.
Mr. Enforcer! If I miss one being sold, please let me know. What was the difference in acceleration with the LSD and gearing & did your mileage go down badly? Being we both have the same engines, you can really help.
Also, do I need any parts besides the LSD itself, to install? I want to get it asap.
Appreciate bro!

Acceleration is much better, but the car looses a bit at the top end (just a bit). You can expect your car to have even better acceleration in the low end with a 3.92, but loose even more at the top end - which is why I think the 3.76 is a happy medium.
Yes gas mileage is a bit down. My old stock '99 was averaging about 380 miles per tank, I'm at about 350 miles now with the LSD.
..one thing to remember is that I have a lot of other mods that would impact acceleration, performance, and gas mileage.
Tomei is a very good company but I wasn't aware they made/rebranded clutch-type LSD's.
To install an LSD in a pumpkin it is highly recommended you send the diff to a reputable shop to get the rebuild done. All new inner and outer pinion seals and axle seals should be ordered, plus you will need new Toyota shims to correctly set up the ring and pinion alignment after precise measurements. It's a variable thing and you won't know what thicknesses to order until the entire diff is apart. It has to be done right the first time which is why getting a specialty shop to handle it is advisable (unless you're experienced).
That said, I agree with scENFORCER's suggestion to find a TT Auto LSD pumpkin for your car. There is a difference in how the clutch-type 2-way LSD (which will eventually require service far down the line) feels versus the 1.5-way Torsen from the MKIV TT (which requires no service and no special friction modifier oil).
