If it isnt one thing, its something else...

first, the shift linkage is too long to connect to the shifter. wtf. how is that even possible? i took the linkage off of my 2jz trans and it was too long too. I thought they had the same transmission / set up? so now i have no idea what to do...

also the car wont start, everything is hooked up except the speed sensor. and it wont start. all it does is crank. i noticed some vacuum lines that were not connected from the charcoal canister that i took out. so i plugged them, it still wont start. any ideas?

 

i just looked and noticed there is oil on all of the spark plugs. what does that mean? also i dont hear the fuel pump. All i did was extend the body plugs for the harness. Not sure why the pump wouldnt be turning on
