There are quite a few parts in the stock suspension that will eventually need replacing, what did you get replaced? Because I get the feeling you just got new springs and struts. There are other parts that fail with age, like the front lower control arms, steering rack and pinion, etc.Originally Posted by Jpgranier

And honestly, as far as the tires go, don't worry too much about what you've already spent, you can sell tires and rims on craigslist, especially if the tires have a lot of meat left on them for a good amount. You won't get all $600 back but you can probably get $300+ back. Nearly anything will sell eventually either on Club Lexus Classifieds, or on Craigslist.
Each body kit is different, obviously, nobody is talking about a widebody kit which would look silly with rims and tires that aren't wide enough to reach the new wheel well width. All we're talking about is just a front lip like this which adds a bit to the look of the front of the car.
If you wanted to add side skirts or a rear lip or wider fenders that's up to you and would cost more than the $1,500 you're looking to spend, but a front lip could be had for cheap if you go with the stock SC400 lip, or find a used one here on the forum.
Anyways welcome to the forum, pat your grandpa on the back for us when you get a chance.
