Default can you bypass/jump power window switch?

Ok I have a 93 sc300 and I know the switch is good on the passenger side and the regulator is bad, but on the driver side i can't get it to move or make any noise at all, i can hear the switch click sometimes but the motor never moves, is there a way jump the switch at the harness or at the back of the switch to test the motor before i go and replace the switch and/or motor?

if you take the switch out you will see the wires behind it. I guess you could use a small jumper wire to connect 2 of them and see if it does anything. ther will probably be 3 wires, one power, one wire for up, and one wire for down. you want to connect the power on to any of the other 2 as a test.

Disconnect the harness from the switch.

All on one side of the connector is
pin # 4 -light blue wire (power)
pin # 10 -Red Wire (up) pin # 9 - green w/ yellow tracer (down) pin # 8 - white w/ black tracer (ground)

You need 2 jumper wires

To Roll Window Down
connect pin # 4 light blue wire to pin # 9 Green w/ yellow tracer then pin #10 red to pin # 8 white with black tracer
Turn the key to just before start, the window should roll down immediately.

To Roll Window Up
connect pin # 4 light blue wire to pin # 10 red then pin #9 Green w/ yellow tracer to pin # 8 white with black tracer

This is just for a quick check and I assume you know what you are doing with wiring. Make sure no loose wire strands are touching each other before turning the key.

I tested this on my own car and it works.

To be 100% sure you need to test for power at the window motor connector.
