Doug, your SC400 looks great! And I love the choice of wheels. They seem to be perfect on the 97-00 body just like MKIV rims. Big surprise to me there.
As for the 2015 WRX I actually like the look of this generation a lot. It's always hit and miss with Subaru. For all the growth in size (it really has grown as big as an Accord, just like the Civic), I can forgive it with the drivetrain it has. Still daunting to see the change in size from the GC8 chassis.
And this "Gamble House" in Pasadena... is it open to the public? A restaurant? Tea house? I'm not far and I'd love to visit this great looking place with some friends.

Yes, the Gamble house is open to the public and you can schedule a tour to view the inside of it M-F I think. It's a historical landmark and is owned jointly by the city of Pasadena and USC.
And yes, the new WRX is probably the best they've made as far as the drivetrain is concerned. It is QUICK, very little lag with the turbo and the gearbox/clutch feels great. I was particularly impressed with the gearbox as it comes very close to how well my S2000 shifted.
