Question about Power Steering Air Valve
I have looked around for the information but haven't found a clear answer regarding the power steering pump and air valve.

I have a 95 SC 400 and the alternator died so it appears as if there was some leaking and fried the alternator. I am going to replace the alternator as well as look at buying or rebuilding my power steering pump.
Every power steering pump I have looked at for the SC 400 does not have a threaded mount for the air valve (see first picture red arrow).
I have read that the LS 400 does have the threaded mount but has a different reservoir (see picture 2).
I know that it has been mentioned that the air valve can be removed and blocked off as well as the vacuum ports.
So my question is:
Should I just use a power steering pump that does not have a threaded port for the air valve and block off the vacuum line or shall I rebuild my pump and install a new air valve and keep the vacuum lines.

It's the acv. On my sc400 it was part if the high pressure hose not the pump. It has two vac lines to it. When u find it all u need to do is take the piece to an auto part store and test fit oil drain bolts (one is gonna fit). You just press in a rubber stop the thread the oil drain plug and then vac caps at the IM and intake pipes
I'll search for the exact thread I used
