36K mile Sc300 on Craigslist in NY 10.5K

"94 is my favorite year for these car." why does he say that? what is so special about a 94'. Im sorry you wouldn't catch me paying this kind of money for a car that old. If your going to spend 10k on a lexus. You can do much much better. Add another 10 k and get your self a decent mk4. Don't be fooled by the miles, no one cares. The low miles will do you way more harm than good . Get your self a clean 97 and up. Thats my .02, its your money but you asked for opinions.

10.5k is pretty high IMO. For two reasons. First off that green color really isn't in style or demand anymore. If it were black, white, red, silver, electric blue, it would be a much easier sale IMO.
Plus I really don't see an automatic car getting that type of $$$$. If it were a 5 speed, in the right color, I think he could get it.
IMO if I were selling it, and it really did look like that in the pics, ie a brand new car(soft leather, all the electrics work), I'd put it up for $9500 and go from there. Pricing it above 10k eliminates a lot of people because they type in the search engine less than 10k.
EDIT: Just because somebody doesn't drive their car every day(or every week, or every month) and it has stupid low mileage doesn't mean its a mechanical time bomb waiting to go off. There is a right way to store/care for a car. I bought my 92 SC with 60k miles on it back in 2012. Had a stack of reciepts going back 20 years, always serviced at the dealer, timing belt was done at about 50k back in 2007ish. Dude didn't drive it in the winter and had 3 or 4 other cars, it sat in the garage forever. Granted I did have to get some new tires since the old ones were cracking due to age, but other than that it was a total time warp. 2 years/20k miles later, only issue I've had were the clutch hydraulics, and I drive it pretty hard.

I'm absolutely in love with my 68K 5 speed that sat for 4 years. I can't believe some people are arguing against low mileage cars in favor of high mileage cars. It is laughable. I have both....... there is no comparison and it's a ludicrous argument.
PS: After fluid flush, brakes and tune up. I had mine up over 100 MPH yesterday and have done a number of burnouts, no parts on the ground behind me so far LOL

This would be great for a swap, if one was concerned about leaks. I picked up a 95 5 speed to that looks almost as good but high miles, more chips. I am halfway through the swap now.

^^ THIS ^^
I just did that to my 68K car and even "money grubbing'" Lexus service gave it a clean bill of health outside of suggesting timing belt/water pump, because they did not see it on service records. They said the belt "looked" new and the car was pretty much perfect.
I have been driving it hard since the maintenance and it has responded quite well. A really mellow driving middle aged lady owned it and the clutch has been barely used.
It is at the shop getting BC Racing coilovers and ALL poly front end bushings installed. The shop called yesterday and asked my why I am replacing the bushings. They said they looked great. I liked hearing that. My exhaust guy begged me not to have him install magnaflows last week. He said my exhaust looked BRAND NEW and may outlast the car at this point, please leave it alone (I'm still doing it, but I will put the stock mufflers on my 97' 300 that needs mufflers right now).
I have Sc's at 241K, 128K, and 68K. They are clearly GOOD, BETTER, and BEST!
I don't care what anyone says, well cared for, low mileage Sc's are most desirable. If you want to trade my 241K Sc300 for a lower mileage one in good condition, I'm in!! ;-)

I just picked up a 1993 SC300 with 78K miles for $4500 because the lady said she smelled gasoline. Turns out its probably the infamous ECU problem keeping the injectors open just dumping out fuel. The tint needs to be removed, needs new tires, and it sat outside for most of it's life so the paint is somewhat bad. All in all I think i still got a good deal.
