Radio compatability 1998 SC300
Vehicle: 1998 SC300
Part#: P6805 is printed on the tape door. Has CD changer.
The sound system tape transport died. I located a head with the number P6807. It looks identical to mine, EXCEPT there is a button on the P6807 that is not on the 6805. The additional button is to the right of the CD button and is marked, "ASL."
Is the P6807 head plug-and -play compatible/interchangeable with mine numbered P6805?

You gotta look what year the headunit is from. Not all years are compatible. Best way to check this is look to see if the connectors on the back are the same as yours. If they are, I'd say its a safe bet that it'll work. You could always plug it in and see if it works before you buy (if you have that option).
