Help needed Please, Just got my sc400 and had a dead battery so we jumped it then we to a gas station and I turned off the car accidently, so I couldnt get it started so we got my brothers battery started it up took the battery out and put the old one back, but all the electronics arent working now. not even power steering or anything, cant put windows up or anything, checked fuses they're are good, what can the problem be? New to this car and forum. Thank you!

Check your grounds from the battery terminal down the cable and where it bolts to the frame and the block, make sure those contacts are clean and the cable itself is corroded.. Also check your positive battery cable for corrosion. And as for the fuses, did you visually inspect them, or use a meter with a continuity toner?

Also just for peace of mind, make sure the battery is hooked up correctly, and get it tested if possible. Try another battery also.

Its a rare occurrence when absolutely nothing works, but its something with either the battery, or the connection between ground and battery, and battery to fuse box.

EDIT:

If the car is running and driving, but nothing inside is working, Im guessing the car is lowered (maybe), possibly chewed the drivers fender harness.

 

Checked the battery to see if it was corroded, nothing really, and I visually inspected the, taking the car to the dealer tomorrow and see what happens....And the car runs and everything so its weird.
