I love everything you've done with the interior.....except the steering wheel. Just not feelin it.

Any thought on changing the lights in the cluster? I think that would be the last thing to finish off the interior. Like a bright white leds. Would really make the cluster pop out in that beautiful interior.

I love this steering wheel..it's a classic design. The beauty of having the NRG quick release hub is that I can swap this steering wheel out with a black MOMO Tuner steering wheel from my other car if I feel like changing things up for a bit..I have the same hubs on both cars.

I do have this planned down the road...all my needles and lights inside my dash cluster work perfectly still so not in a rush at this time.

Lovely, so much better then the boring all black theme that everyone was following.

In my opinion the grand finale , the icing on the cake , would be a nice wood grain steering wheel

Wouldn't that be a step backward in terms of matching the old theme that he's gone away from? Wood wouldn't really match anything in the interior now, whereas black fits perfectly.

...maybe he means the blk/blk woodgrain wheel found in the gs?

Could be. I didn't know there's a black woodgrain wheel.

Is there anything more comfortable than a leather Momo grip, though? I thought about going that direction with mine, but questioned what the svelte hub would look like with the SC's big column shroud behind it. As it turns out from the pics in this thread, it works much better than I expected! Maybe the black on black helps with that?

NRG makes a Black woodgrain steering wheel and you are def correct..there is nothing more comfy that that MOMO leather. That is the reason why I went with a leather steering wheel instead of a wood one.

Looking good. The only thing I might think about changing is the head unit. I know you might like it's originality, but the newer climate control really throws things off with the dinosaur below.

I don't like the original head unit at all...I hate it..but I am doing this project one step at a time and still have a lot of work left...next up in December is getting a new head unit, amp, and sub installed.

Sub: 10" JL Audio W3

Are you sure that sub will fit? It looks pretty deep. I know other people have reported successful JL Audio fittings, but I'm not sure about the model #. I went with an Earthquake sub that's about half that depth and there wasn't a ton of room to spare.

I am having my friend from Al & Ed's Autosound build a custom box for it in the trunk....I took out the stock amps and stock CD changer and the box will be going in that corner where the CD changer used to be.

How do you like the new climate control? I've been thinking about getting one myself, but was worried about the quality of the aftermarket unit. Also did you install it yourself, and if so was it easy?
