Checked out sc300- clicking noise
So I checked out this sc300 about a hour ago, it sounded really really good- but you could hear a clicking noise from the engine 1nce every 1/2 second or so. He said a shop said it might be air leaking from some pipe or something, not really sure. Other than that the engine sounded really nice. That thing roared, interior was kinda shot so if there's anyone that sells interior parts please message me

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that looks like a heap of **** to me. I'd keep looking. Engines don't repeatedly click unless they have electronic fuel injection like VW's or Mazdas. Don't waste your money or time, SC's are widely available on Craigslist and in the club lexus classifieds. What's your budget?

Agreed, the way that one looks and sounds should be $1,500 unless it has a swap. For $8,000, you should be looking at clean 97's. If there aren't many in your immediate area, start searching around the neighboring cities. You'll be amazed how many nice ones are available for a lot less than your budget. But please, do not buy that piece of junk unless it's for $1,500 and you're willing to put a few thousand into it.

i got my 92 SC4 for 2k, pretty high on the miles, but everything you see in the sig was already there. had some minor rust on the quarters and one rip in the seat. besides that, its flawless and runs like a brand new lexus. for 8k you could definitely find something great.
