oh i called paypal right away. i got the kit tried to put it on the car and right when i knew it would not fit i called paypal to open my claim. this all happened in 2 hours

the people didnt even use pictures of their product i took a better look and some pics are from extreme dimensions and two of them were from vertex website

Yeah, If you complain to ebay and paypal, theyre usually good about giving customers their money back, especially if you didn't receive what you paid for...GO GET EEM!!

So I finally got ahold of the company i bought the kit from. they wanted me to send them pictures of all the parts that are not fitting and so I sent them about 20 different pictures of all the parts on the car. Nothing was even close. Fingers crossed i hope that they can just give me my money back

i've disputed a few times over ebay stuff. just got some free hardware from these guys that sold me hood struts with no hardware. i only needed 4 but they're sending me 8 so i can do my trunk as well lol. most of the time the sellers give in because feedback is the only thing keeping them afloat. i gave some chinese company that i bought LEDs from negative feedback and they refunded all my money and sent me new LEDs because the first ones didn't work. so then i changed my feedback to positive lol. just keep trying and you'll get your money back guaranteed.

well if i do get my money back im going to just turn around and buy an actual vertex ridge wide body. although its 3300 it will be worth it

okay so I am going to bring up an old thread... so I was told that if i wanted a refund that I would have to ship it back. I would lose about 400 dollars sending it back. I decided to just leave them a negative feedback. I did a lot of cutting and fiber glassing and finally have something on the car. There are still gaps but I am working on fixing them. Now I need wider rims to fill the space lol. sorry for the poor quality pictures

Congrats on getting it on, even if it has bad fitment. Most places when they ask for returns you can snap/break the body kit into as little as many pieces as possible so you can ship it back cheaply.

Sorry to hear you fell for the "ship it back" trick which almost always results in you keeping the POS kit you got stuck with.....

Sounds like all of your dealings with this kit company and the credit card options fell through. Chalk this up to a "life lesson" but at least you are moving forward with the kit you have (not too much different than what I went through)......

Even paypal said that the only way to get a refund was to ship it back so I was screwed no matter what

You should have cut the kit up, ground it into pieces, and shipped it flat rate.

How did you attach the rear fender? Did you cut your original quarter panel?

I did not cut the rear fender.. with the body kits you mold it to the fender or you rivet it.. I ended up using rivets. I think it gives it a cool look
