Default f/i life blood recommendation

Well fellas - without going into too much detail. There has been a recent replacement. I won't say much at this point for personal reasons. Laying low. Check out the photo contest.

Anyways, this dormant beast is due for an oil change. I got a nice Fram Extra Gaurd oil filter (PH3614). I like mobil 1 but I need a recommendation on wieght. From research it seems a 10w-30 should be fine for f/i but I'm wondering what the other na-t guys are running.

I searched and didn't find much.

What area do you live in again (climate)? Nice ride btw, 5-speed? Do you know where you got those "L" hub caps?

It's chilly in the garage this time of year.
Today was approximately 20F. The car is not being driven - just want to freshen the fluids a bit.

The L caps were grafted by the previous owner from his stock wheels to the supra wheels that are on it now (I beleive). I would think Mr. Ganz and co. may be able to assist anyone who might be interested in them.

Congrats and welcome back. I would get 5w30 for cold weather (that means 20 deg. F). When it gets warmer get syntetic 10w30.

Chris

PS. I'm going turbo via engine swap this summer.

Sooo, awj, I see you bought 'J.K's car, very nice choice, and a big up for beating me out, the best man won brother . Just so you all know, this whip was built by an NA-T pioneer, and was built for one of the first guys pushing boost in a Lex coupe. Black on Black boosted 5spd, how can you go wrong...
So, new coupes for both of us, eh? Mine won't officially debut until the motor is done, but let the competition begin .

Oh, PM me when you get a chance...
