car is raised and the sound is a lot milder... there is definitely a lot of clearance now but i think it's just cz it hasn't warmed up yet. i'm gonna go sand the break pads now too to eliminate that problem, then i'll go drive around a little more and make a video for you guys.
no its not the mounts, the actual brake pads are too big and they wrap around the disc, i filed them down but the sound is still slightly there. i'm guessing it's the CV joints because the sound was very loud when the car was extremely low because the CV joint was probably never straight. the car is a little lower than stock now and the sound is very rarely there, and if it is, it's very faint. i gotta go to work now so i'll make a video tomorrow probably. idk what else it could be. just waiting for some nicer weather, it's supposed to snow again today and tomorrow. this is insanity, and i like snow lol.
Try this, see if this works...that squeak at the beginning sounds just like yours.
^^^^ that is definitely not mine, mine squeeks on rotation not bumps. the problem seems to be gone now though. drove a bit today and never heard the sound even once. however theres new sound lol.
sometimes, very rarely, when i press the brake, there's a click from that same wheel. small little click when i press the brakes and thats it. i think i saw a thread on her and someone had the same issue so i'll look around.
and the brakes i'm not sure about, the guy i bought the car from said it has supra calipers and discs, but i htink the rear discs are stock so that's why they wore down like that.
here's the video, it was windy and snowing so all you can hear is wind, but there's no more sound anymore. so i guess it was just the tire, weird cz the other side was the same height and wasn't rubbing.
video still uploading so give it some time

Yeah well that suspension noise can happen on bumps or rotation.
So the sound is now gone all of a sudden? Lol it will probably come back if you didnt address the issue, but congrats on getting rid of it probably overlooking something minor.

i guess it's gone lol, i haven't heard it all day or last night. so yea, i'll still take a look at the bearings and everything when the weather brightens up
ok so the sound is back, the scratching noise that u heard before is very faint, and rare to hear. however, moving really really slow. like pushing speed, there's this awful cracking noise that sounds like something is sticking to something else and then popping, sounds kinda like a lug nut bouncing around in a plastic bin too. it's only when just barely moving though. i'll make a vid tmr cz this is really getting annoying and i don't have time to get a good look at it. i don't feel any change in the driveability, nothing is heating up (bearings would do that).
could it be the diff? it's a torsen and could the gears be rubbing or something? but that wouldn't make sense why its only on one side. idk, back to jacking the car up everyday and trying to find something, at least it's above 30 now and no more snow.

Well that sucks lol if i was there we hunt that noise down!!! lol
Another vid would be helpful so we can try to help and solve this

Is the diff supposed to be covered in this black gunk? The rear part of the diff and the surrounding area is covered in this super thick black gunk. Going for a drive now to get a vid of this.
there's the diff and the video is uploading as well. it sounds horrible

so after working today, drove a bunch, busy day. all sounds stopped, there is nothing making noise now, not even the whine from the engine bay i used to have. hope its not the calm before the storm lol. going to a junkyard tmr, nice lil sc4 with a messed up front driver side i'll scavenge.
