Hello,
I was wondering if it would work well to run the radiator in front of the intercooler (meaning that the radiator is further towards the front of the car)? would setting up the radiator and intercooler this way still cool effectively? On every other car ive seen (other than v-mount setup) the intercooler is in front of the radiator. I would like to do this to be able to run a specific radiator support setup but im not going to if it will cause overheating issues.

I am planning on running all electric fans so Im not opposed to adding an additional push fan one between the radiator and intercooler if that would be helpful.

That's gonna heat soak the **** out of the intercooler.

 

Nope! Bad idea there. I've done a v mount before and made a L mount before as well. You NEED ambient air with fans. Also, using a push and a pull at same time is counterproductive, it actually restricts more.
The trick to cooling is the ducting. You can pretty much gut ther center weld in new brackets, crossmember as long as you follow up with sheet to close all the gaps.

 

bad idea. what you should do is put the intercooler in front of the radiator because the radiators are overbuilt and will still cool the motor fine. If your intercooler temps are still not low enough use a fan on that.
