its definitely faster (than my '95) but the brakes are overly touchy and 1st gear feels flat. I drove one with the cloth seats and i didn't feel as comfortable in it as with the SC. Things in the SC seem layed out better. It's nice... but the horrible trade in they were offering and the markup on the car isn't going to sway me.

They will call me in march though to look at a white G35 w/ black interior...
you test drove a G35 automatic... sounds like you test drove the 4 door? you DO realize the coupe makes 20hp more, weighs less, and has a 6-speed option right? test driving an automatic sports car and using it as the basis of the whole car when there's a manual available should be a sacriledge

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
It was a G35 COUPE, 5 speed auto, no navigation, cloth interior (the 6 speed version had leather but no go on that one for the test drive).

My reply was originally in response to a different thread (that was obviously merged with this one ) that was only about the coupe. So no, I wasn't basing this one test drive w/ the manual version but was basing it vs a 98-00 SC400.
