Has anyone replaced these bushings with OEM bushings? These are the ones visible from the rear.

If so, how difficult was it? I can't tell if these will need to be pressed or burned out or if the subframe/diff needs to be dropped.

oem units can be used but they are normally not available. they have to be hammered or pressed out. a true pain in the butt. and its a ton easier if you drop the whole frame.

I "rebuilt" my rear subframe last year. Powdercoated it, and replaced all the bushings.

Some pics. The subframe to body ones are all TRD ones, and the subframe to rear diff ones you're asking about I used OEM Supra ones. Then we made our own Poly diff ear bushings.

I had a shop press out the old ones, and attempt to press in the new ones. They got the old ones out very quickly, and the new ones in about 75% of the way before their press bottomed out. I got them in myself with a wood block and a sledge hammer in a matter of seconds, they felt stupid. If I did it again, I think I could do it all in my garage with a sledge and wood block. WHen putting the new one in, make sure to sand the hole to make sure it's clean and no paint or anything, then slap some grease in there, and it should pound in pretty easily.
