Default Budget Trans Upgrades

SC400, 1UZ with stock A340e Trans

So yes, a Lexus owner on a budget. I know these two don't go to well together. But, here's what I aim to do. Trans Go HD2 kit on "hotrod" setting, more or less the larger drill bit in the kit. B&M Hammer Shifter, better trans cooler, and 4th Solenoid wire wired to a relay controlled but the ECT switch. Question is, Do I need the shifter for a 3 speed or 4? I am leaning toward the 3 speed do to the 4th gear engaging via OD switch. This will be the first auto trans i've messed with, Datsun is a different ball game all together.

My leather and button is all jacked up, Yeh the hammer shifter is around 150$, but a decent used **** is about 60$ on ebay.

I had the trans go kit in my LS for a little while. The hotrod setting is super fun but is a little over kill when it comes down to actual racing.
