Default ABS light on!

I just got my car back from the shop after ehhmm 3 months almost for some minor body work and suspension work

now my ABS light is on, and I'm looking for some pointers

now heres one of the possibilities- I dont know too much about the Lexus ABS system, I have the fullsize spare on one side and a Carlsson 18" on the otherside on 245/40-18s I know the diameter is off slightly- I know this can confuse the ABS system when its actually working for obvious reasons.

My question is can this cause the ABS light to come on? just having different diameter tires on the same axle?

thats the simple fix... other things I can think of is the shop not replacing the ABS sensor which was probably broken in the accident

well anyways... I should pull the codes huh and quit blabbing

I think this is the case with some Soarers as well. I'm not too sure what you get warning signs in the dash when something happens, but in Soarers, it seems that when the brake fluid level is low that the ABS or Brake Fluid warning appears. Try to top up the brake fluid slightly above the "Full" line and see if that makes a difference, and if it doesn't then be cautious.

My ABS light is on too. But mine is because I keep blowing the fuse, and it also affects my power steering, and power windows. Sucks ***...

talked to the tech at the Lexus dealer he said the slightly different diameters of the tires wont set the ABS light off

the other things I topped off the brake fluid its still on

I also reset the ECU (disconnected the battery and then reconnected it later) and its still on- it might because the ABS is a stored code....

so... its off to diagnostics it goes!!!

thanks guys for the help, I'll PM Henry!
