Seriously, pretty cool though, OP. have you run into any of the RHD annoyances yet? My favorite is passing school buses on the way to work in the morning.

Drive Thru , I guess will be another thing of the past for RHD cars
But good luck to you OP ... kudos for your determination.
hey, ive got a question, for drilling the spot welds, do you use a metal punch in the center of the spotweld to keep the bit centered when drilling. ive always had a problem with my spotweld cutter bit to wander while drilling, but i think a metal bunch would fix the problem
Hold on to it really tight with two hands or use one that has a drill bit center.
ya, the ones i use have a circular cutting part with a metal pin in the middle that would be useful for centering it you hit the spotweld with a punch or something so you had a place to put it in. but ya, i get what your saying

Yeah did use that. i also had one of those center punchers thats spring loaded since its pretty hard to actually use the one where u need a hammer since it had some weird angles and tight places. The middle part of the spot weld bit gets really dull tho and starts to jump of the center punch... specially after doing like 200 spot welds. i went through 3 bits.
sick man. we built a rhd ae86 and it wasalot of fun, almost made an AW11 into a one seat center drive.
It is definitely fun to drive specially seeing people break their necks when they have to have a second look lol thats would be crazy tho! a center drive car
Now time to drill the spot welds out of the firewall that was in the car. It was good that i know how to take it out already since i did it on the firewall that was out but it sucked cause it was still in the car making it have less room to work with
