Man , I don't know what to say about your catch can setup . Those are freaking long lines and a lot of bends. I hope those bends specially those 90 degrees fittings won't cause any back pressure that refrain the crank case pressure to be relieved. I hope not .

I know you don't want to take out your charcoal canister. Wouldn't it be better if that canister was the one you relocated ?

Why dont you just remove the charcoal canistor all together and put the breather in its spot?

 

I haven't relocated mine .. I took it out actually since my catch can is on that area ..but I would like to re-install my charcoal canister somewhere else.

Yours was a 1997 right ? I thought the 97+ had that square charcoal canister and is actually installed behind the passenger fog lamp. That is where I removed what was on the 97 SC. But I have no space there because of my IC piping, air filter , tranny filter and one of the tranny oil cooler... you should have space there.

 

Yes 1997... not square, same as pre -97. You got me thinking to relocate the charcoal canister behind the front bumper
You probably have an aftermarket ones on that 1997 of yours

 

Hmmm , probably not original. Mine was an SC400 though . It looks the same as that from LS400 . But it was well bolted and brackets were as though original . It was right there beyond the fog lamp when I took it out. Even wiring for it on the harness was original. Pipings and hoses where routed and fastened well like original. I don't know .

 

I am putting the catch can where the charcoal canister was... and relocating the charcoal where the catch can was.. this should be the end of this hahaha

you should relocate your charcoal canister to the back of the car. The vent tube starts back there. It would be a lot easier plumbing wise to put it in the back of the car.

 

I put it up front, maybe later i will....
