Talking Paulo's SC4 build

hello clublexus, i just want to introduce myself, my name is Paulo, i'm 18 years old living in las vegas and this will be my designated build thread. ill show you guys my previous cars and my current daily now which is my 93 SC400.
I came from a 2011 Scion xb slammed on ksport coilovers on mercedes benz alphards, if anyone is from the Volkswagen/Audi scene you may be familiar with the wheels.

aired out, jk not even that low.... :/
then sold my wheels and picked up this 93 LS400 paid 3500 cuz the previous owner said all the maintenance was caught up, that was all bull, waterpump went out and transmission was thumping and it needed paint.

my friend had a spare set laying around and did this for giggles. Really wish i could have made this happen, just tucking rim slammed and cambered a tad, this could have been cool....

had that thing for a few months and then came across a customer at my work who wanted to trade his SC400 for my LS400, my car was in better condition but i did it anyway because i liked how the SC looked.
heres when we first met up to check out the cars
93 garnet red sc400 i believe with color matched sc400 lip, GS wheels, 97+ tails, and nakamichi sound system.

Then started going to work with the interior, the car didn't have working window regulators so i picked some up from my local junkyard at 10 a piece and door panels for another 10 a piece also! These door pockets were destroyed :/

Cool

now were pretty much caught up with my car, its on the TC wheels still, door panels in and yeah.
A few days ago i went to my junkyard looking for LS400 seats to try and throw into my car but wasnt of any luck :/ I did however come across this
http://www.flickr.com/photos/pjurisprudencia/9050175201/http://www.flickr.com/photos/pjurisprudencia/9050175201/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/pjurisprudencia/, on Flickr
awe yeah you guys can probably guess i probably got this for cheap
20 for two calipers with pads and 10 for both rotors
http://www.flickr.com/photos/pjurisprudencia/9049941453/http://www.flickr.com/photos/pjurisprudencia/9049941453/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/pjurisprudencia/, on Flickr

20mm adaptor to clear the caliper.
when i come back from mexico ill be getting the rotors turned/cut and get my calipers torqued right since theres a leak, pretty much the car isnt too safe to drive atm, good thing i just bike to work anyways, driving a v8 sucks. I also forgot to add i had my AC recharged for $100 bucks at a local shop here in town, blowing a cool 35* and i replaced my serpintine belt cuz my neighbor had one laying around and just gave him $30 for it mine needed a replacing.

I also have sc300 pads laying around if anyone in vegas wants em ill sell em cheap.
and i also have to get this fixed/figured out

plans for the future are, 5 speed swap, might go the ka24 with adaptor plate route, slam it on PBM's, and wheels, and get the interior sorted out too.

ill be updating this thread whenever I do something of importance to this car, all this has been done within a 6 week time period so a month and a half. I am dying to order my coils already but i got a pay cut and keep finding all these little things that need fixing first! but again for 6 weeks of owning the car I'm doing pretty well I guess.
Feel free to leave any feedback! thanks!

Nice color ....

Door panels for $10 , even in that condition,.you can't beat that ! Freaking good condition door panels can fetch around $300 a pair.

yeah im happy with it, i mean the LS had a clean title but whats the point when i would have only gotten 2k the most for that car. I love how much more modern looking kthe SC is, i do miss my LS AC since that was still r12! The Sc right now needs a new PS pump and AC condensor cuz they are leaking. I just hope the Alternator under the PS pump can handle being soaked a bit longer until after i pick up my coils. 5 speed swap and welded diff in the far future!

considering i am only 18 and have only owned the car for 9 weeks im not doing too bad with it, just catching up maintenance and the mods are starting to happen now.

Thanks man, I could have done the easy way out and sold my coils for $600 but I decided to keep them and save up again for this car, I want to have two slammed cars in my drive way, haha

As you probably found out, you can't replace the balljoints on an SC. You have to replace the entire control arm
