My car is a 97 SC300 OBD2 and will be doing Aristo swap sometime this November. As for the wiring, I am looking at Wangan's spreadsheet posted on this forum.

I found a couple of SC300 OBD1 engine harnesses, and thinking about doing the wiring since I have a lot of downtime.

My question is what are the difference between the OBD1 and OBD2 harnesses? I know there are 3 O2 sensor on OBD2, but would an OBD1 harness mated with Aristo will work properly on my 97 SC300?

I live outside Phoenix where emmission is not required My only concern is if I used OBD1 harness mated with Aristo, will my car run properly speaking of gas consumption?
