That is a real GTR. The Top Gear video you showed of the GTR is a stock GTR which would get wooped by that SC Too.Originally Posted by O. L. T.
That is not an R35 GTR at all. They have Launch Control and it's literally "perfect". There's nothing on the planet that can get off the line like one can. That took off like a Nissan Sentra. This must be an old skyline "light" version because an R35 would have left that line before the SC touched the gas.The GTR didn't have slicks on the SC did. The GTR was probably stock too. There are monster GTR's out there but this wasn't one of them. 700-1000hp 2jz SC > Stock GTR.

Slicks? LOL. No need for slicks with R35's Launch Control. It doesn't have the power to support them when using the assistance. It's AWD.Originally Posted by Clean400

The sc would be faster at the end of the track, but you'd (generally speaking) have to be a derp not to know that so moot point really. That car did not leave under proper launch control in the vid, the point. Had it, the SC would not have been ahead ALL the way. I figure at least the 125 ft mark for the GTR, then eminent disappointment for it the rest of the way.

man, that SC is a absolute beast. How ever i feel it is kind of like pitting a lion against a house hold cat, that GTR took off way too slow, theres no way the SC should have blown it out of the water like that, just no way IMO. Perhaps a skilled driver behind the GTR would have been a better show, seeing as how the GTR is AWD i think it should have had a significantly better start then that. plus the fact of its launch control as well.

It does look like the GTR had a bad driver or didnt have a good launch so let off once that happened but countinued the race anyways. Originally Posted by levie
