Radiator Question
Radiator Question
Well my radiator started leaking at the plugs and some other locations so I purchased a new one, but I was wondering which plugs I need to buy.I was able to find the standard radiator plug but I couldn't find the one I pictured. Any help would be great
Who did you buy radiator from? So of them have a stop valve in there that doesn't require a plug. An aftermarket I bought did that and I was really concerned to not plug the hole... But they told me I didn't need it plugged so I didn't bother. Didn't leak...
The only thing that could be on an SC radiator is a coolant temp sensor. I encountered this when swapping to a Supra TT radiator but to my knowledge the SC300 did not have this sensor on its radiator. I have heard that SC400's do but I cannot confirm that. On the Supra TT it is an M16-1.5 drain plug size. For an SC400 radiator I have no idea, never having seen one personally.

They said it typically doesn't come with one but I can go to a store and find it. I've gone to advanced and auto zone and no one can seem to find it.
