Certain manufactures can create track brake pads on request. I haven't found anyone that produced a performance street pad.

Was going about 70+mph on the highway today and when I applied the brakes hard, the car wobbled / leaned to one side, I took my foot of the brake and applied the brakes hard once more and it wobbled the other direction. It use to do the same thing with my stock brakes, is that normal? The good news is that the grinding is slowly going away or maybe I'm just getting use to it.

Bushings or tires.

I had a similar issue when I would brake the car would pull to a side. I had the car aligned and it went away for a bit. After I changed out the front tires and the problem went away.

Tires are new, brakes are new, alignment was done maybe a month ago.

Bushings are old, probably original. My next big investment was going to be upper and lower control arms all around. I know it's a lot of money, but it would just be easier to replace everything at once.

this is a really stupid question, but i'm doing a LS BBK on my sc300 and want to know what kind of brake lines do i need? I want stainless steel lines, but i just need confirmation that i should use ls400 brake lines or sc300 brake lines? or are they the same?

The same. I did the stainless steel braided brake lines first before the LS brakes. I used Goodridge.

ok thats good to know, because all these parts stores online have different part numbers for the SS brake lines. i ended up ordering the LS400 lines by rotora, but now i'm afraid they wont fit and i should have bought the sc300 ones. but if they are the same, then i guess im good.

I bought SS lines for an SC as I was worried about the correct length at full lock. If you purchase LS lines, make sure to take a pic side by side of your stock rubber hoses to compare lengths.

I bought UCA's the other day with prothane bushings. Next up is new front LCA's from a Supra. I have a side job to complete tomorrow which will give me enough funds for this MAJOR purchase. Investing $500 on two control arms is crazy and I wish we had other options.

so do you guys suggest i buy the sc300 brake lines instead? I would hate to attempt the brake change this week and then have the incorrect SS brake lines. Does anyone know if LS400 brake lines work properly?

yes, go with the SC lines as they are the correct length out the box, the connection to the LS brakes is the same

I went with the wagner thermoquiets and have not had any issues with squeeling, I also have the the poly lower control arm bushings so maybe that has something to do with it.
EBC makes pads for the LS400, and they have different levels of pad/performance you can select but can be pricey. I think the track ones are the yellow ones, the greens are for normal use and there are a few other colors.
probably the best known pad you will find for the ls400 brakes, but the cheap thermoquiets have been pretty good for stopping, not wearing fast, and not squeaking all the time, they really are quiet somehow and get the job done if you need pads quick off the shelf.
