Sorry if I missed it, but did you ever replace AND set the TPS? If you haven't, I'd think it's a good idea to test for resistance W an ohmmeter. It's a part that fails a lot on Lexus cars. That Justanswers guy is a loser. A radio no effect on the idle. Stay with these forums...you will figure it out soon enough.

yes, that also tested good. i dont remember what pins they were but you could watch the resistance change as the throttle was moved when checking that full throttle pin.

ok, so i have discovered that pressure at the fuel rail is at about 10psi, and it takes a while to build it up to that as well.

tomorrow im going to check to see if there is a pressure difference at the hard line before it gets to the rail to try and start isolating problems. like fuel regulator and or injectors.

is there anything inside those gas tanks that can come loose and bypass? its a weird set up compared to all my nissans. it seems there is a feeder tube that you connect the pump too that runs around in the tank to the bottom. can there be a leak inbetween there anywhere?(excluding the hoses that go from pump to hard line thats all at the window at the back of the tank)

would a bad regulator make it run like this?

i found the problem, its by-passing bad inside the tank. the hard line from the pump to the bottom of the tank right there at the very bottom. so the weld broke or the line down there cracked. so pulling oiut now and seeing what can be done. probably have to by a new tank??

ok, so it was the botton supply line, but it was in between the tank and the outside bottom line. it was spraying out that little hole that is there to help line up those banjo nut lines to the bottom of the tank. wierd. so it wasnt sealing and was filling up that small cavity and then spraying out the top. but the factory never had a copper washer, or gasket there to seal it. so anyways siphoned and but a copper gasket between the bottom tank and that deal that has the rubber gasket on it tighten it down and it runs amazing. i didnt do the fuel pump mod just did the jumper wire, but it runs better than when i tried that. it almost doesnt crank and its already firing up.

so my conclusion, an incredabily stupid design. they were probably high when they desided to design it like they did. anyways runs great. hope this can help someone else who might be experiencing the same thing to atleast check one thing off the list that you may not think of.
