Has anyone here try hooking something like this to a turbo car with a turbo timer? Anyone with any type of input on this would be great since I like the idea.

Thanks,
David
My car has a turbo. From what I read up, it does not affect it at all.

I just installed a Avital alarm and when my car shuts off by the turbo timer the alarm unlocks the doors. It does this by the programming of the unit itself. How do I disable this function? Secondly it also locks the doors once the car starts. I tried the programming method mentioned in the pdf file online but still a no go. Any insight since we are twliing about alarms on the SC??

So, what about the turbo timer? Can you still arm the car with the turbo timer still running?

Thanks,
David

wait, so theres no way to wire this alarm to ignore the stock ignition hole? have to have the key in and in run to turn the car on?
that sounds like it sucks. i mean for such an advanced system they should be able to invent something to bypass this feature.
i'm sure theres a way.

So, let me understand you correctly. Once the turbo timer shuts off...the alarm unlocks your doors? Anyone with any input on this? I want to know too..

Thanks,
David

First off I want to say NICE mod!!

Now, with your car being turbo..do you have a turbo timer installed? If so, do you have the same problem as one of our club member's alarm unlocking the doors when the turbo timer shuts off? I like to know if you don't mind or any input would be great since I might do this as well. Thanks in advance!!
