Default Mounting a pre-1997 trunk spoiler on a 2000 SC

Am I nuts, but I might like the old spoiler better. Has anyone ever gone backwards on this swap and if so, can you point me towards the pictures?

Thanks much.

PS-my existing spoiler needs a re-spray so that is why I am thinking about this a bit.

I like the newer style spoiler but it's a pain to clean/wax the underside of the wing and the portion of the trunk where it sits..

Yeah, I don't have the newer one but I think the old one makes the car look a bit wider and sleek.

Wingless looks best. But the 95-96 wing is the one to have.

No, sorry to my eye, wingless looks awful. Matter of taste.

Thanks for that link. I think I will proceed, come spring, when I have to have the rear bumper painted anyway.

Does anyone know, at what speed they produce the most downforce, etc.?
